who comes once a year

that chubby little elf

with the eight reindeer.

He has a beard of white

and says ho ho ho

and he makes the kids

shriek with giggles wherever they go.

He carries a big bag

full of presents and toys

he puts them under christmas trees

for little girls and boys.

All children anticipate

his arrival each year

they love that jolly old elf

and they hold him so dear.

So if you have been good

and have played no nasty trick,

you will be visited

by good old St. Nick
